This webinar explores the critical intersections of race, equity, and social-emotional learning. Social conditions and environments shape how professionals engage with marginalized and minoritized individuals and groups. Exploration of these elements is necessary for creating equitable learning environments for all students.

About Monica Hudnall, MA, CCC-SLP/L, A-RSP

Monica C. Hudnall is a speech-language pathologist and anxiety rehabilitation service provider. She is pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at Mills College in Oakland, CA. Her research interests focus on leadership, social-emotional learning, and higher education. Monica has received meritorious recognition from ASHA for her research proposal, Early to Mid-Career SLP Perspectives on the Practice of Cultural Competence. She is proudly serving a 3-year term as the Early Career Professional on ASHA’s Government Affairs & Public Policy Board.
